Our people make the difference

At SunLit Communications, our mission is to provide superior multimedia digital content that you can rely on for accuracy and visual appeal - at a fair price. Organizations and businesses, from universities to health care providers to cultural organizations, need online content to keep their Web sites fresh and relevant.

We're career journalists, so we understand the power of media. Drawing on our experience as writers, editors, designers, video and audio producers and webmasters, we've reinvented ourselves to provide turnkey digital media solutions, through e-newsletters, blogs, e-magazines and other new-media forms. At SunLit Communications, we are content providers first, with that as our core strength. Web sites thrive by offering useful information. They also thrive by engaging visitors in discussion inspired by interesting stories and opinions.

Diane Evans Diane Evans, President

Diane Evans is a 32-year veteran of the former Knight Ridder Newspaper chain. For nearly a decade, she wrote an opinion column entitled "Inside Business" for the Akron Beacon Journal's business section before moving on to write a nationally syndicated column called "Livingwell" that was distributed weekly to more than 500 newspapers by Knight Ridder/Tribune News Service. More recently, working on behalf of a project funded by the Knight Foundation, Evans has written columns relating to why broadband networks matter to communities. Those columns have appeared in newspapers around the country, including the Los Angeles Times.

During her last two years with Knight Ridder, Evans launched a venture with the support of senior management that ultimately led to the development of SunLit Communications LLC.

As head of SunLit Communications, she oversees a group of experienced writers who produce stories both for traditional print publications and new digital formats. In addition, Evans creates distribution networks for the custom online content produced for clients, and for clients with adequate website traffic, she develops plans to build new streams of revenue through advertising.
